LoveDetect - feel the love vibrations
I was wondering when something like this would appear in online dating. LoveDetect is a service that makes use of the most sophisticated voice recognition and pattern measurement. Based on technology developed in Israel for security purposes, LoveDetect helps singles find out whether someone they are talking to is sincere about their feelings for them. Basically, the software behind the service analyzes voice patterns and brain activity "fingerprints" of the person on the other side of the conversation and tries to determine what they call the Love Score, which is available to the service user in one of two ways - online or on the phone directly. LoveDetect boasts a 96% accuracy in their analysis. Impressive! Here's what they say:
"LoveDetect measures high and constant levels of excitement and concentration - indicative of arousal derived mostly from sexual attraction. This type of feeling and arousal is usually present between two people in the beginning of their relationship, and before the relationship is moved to a more formal structure."
If you've ever been on a date, and wondering afterwards whether they liked you, this just might be one way to find that out … short of asking them outright of course. LoveScore gives values from 1 to 10. So, I guess anything higher than 5 means there's something there. The service is not free. Prices range from $10 (30 min) to $80 (240 min) for the total duration calls. I didn't find a free-trial option, which kinda sucks, but they seem serious enough so if you were looking for a hi-tech approach to dating, this sounds like it.

That's the idea behind the newest dating service down under.
There is always space for another kind of dating service, to address a specific audience. Seventy Thirty is one such dating service, and it aims to address the more independent, very well to do, "upper class" singles. It's a way for rich singles to find and meet someone special, with all the security and support from a system designed to address their special needs. Anyone can join, but according to this
