Are You Interested in Flirt(ing) With Me?
SNAP Interactive, the provider of online dating applications for social networking sites, announced the release of two such applications. One is called Are You Interested and the other is Flirst With Me. Both are aimed at MySpace users, and are available as applications at MySpace. The applications have developed upon the recently released MySpace Developer Platform.
Briefly, Are You Interested? allows members to view pictures and indicate whether or not they are interested in each other, while Flirt With Me is a fun dating application that allows users to exchange flirts. Also, this application integrates a Flirt With Me profile box onto profiles to allow anyone who visits a MySpace page to send flirt messages.
The overall goal of SNAP Interactive was to create a fun online dating environment and enhance the experience for singles on MySpace. So, if you're a MySpace member, here are the links towards these two applications:
Maxim, the famous men's lifestyle magazine, has partnered with WhiteLabelDating.com to launch its own branded dating service for men. Maxim readers can get to the dating site through a link on the main site (haven't found the link there yet, so maybe it's coming soon). The new dating site offers potential dates from a vast network of 18-35 year old women, maybe even the next cover-girl. That would be very nice 
This site was created for people with high I.Q.'s to find partners who suit them, and are on the same level. Though it's exclusive in terms of intelligence - location, education and social status do not act as a barrier.
Instead of normally taking time to go through hundreds of profiles, this app tries to simplify and speed up the process by putting emphasis on conversation. Users simply choose from the available options to narrow down the number of people with whom to make contact. The app then sets up speed dating sessions and engages the user with selected members in communication right away. Since it's a Facebook app, this becomes a social network speed dating hybrid, which should yield its users some very interesting results. Since social networks and dating sites are steadily becoming one and the same, this application will probably do well, after all there are only millions of members on Facebook.
Berkowski said he did not want to make the site too lovey-dovey; he wanted it to be more of a place where for people to socialize and meet. The two young men started this site, because they saw that speed-dating was becoming extremely popular, especially among young people. They figured by putting this service on the internet they would make this type of dating more easy and efficient. As well, the odds are certainly very high for finding a partner in a room with 30 guys and 30 girls.
