Jamie Foxx daughter banned from dating

Jamie Foxx had decided not to allow his daughter to go on dates. The Hollywood star made this decision when his 14-year-old daughter was confused for the actor's new flame by the press.

The actor/singer has admitted that he is far too protective of his daughter. Corrine, is very young but many people, especially men, think that she is twice her age.

Foxx says, "She's not going to date until she's married. She's so beautiful… I was coming out of a restaurant with her, I guess the paparazzi didn't know who she was, the paper said,'Foxx with young hottie.' It just kills you because she is so grown, but she's only 14."

Dating sites seeing a boost

Even though the economy is looking pretty bad, singles need not worry, because the numbers are up with online dating sites. Though people are holding back on actual dates, they are flocking to dating sites to find true love.

Dating sites seeing a boost

With the housing prices falling and jobs disappearing, only those looking for a date are seeing the brighter side. As a result, virtual matchmakers are seeing their best numbers yet, while users are seeing better odds of finding the One.

The boost is felt both by sites that charge by the month or accept posts for free. Though the come-on lines are getting more interesting by the day like, "This Cougar is looking for her prey," "It's a gloomy time of year and I am not talking about the rain," and "need hot girlfriend, will provide food."

Mandy Ginsberg, general manager of Match.com in North America, says, "We had our third busiest weekend of the year following the five-year low in the the stock market."

Research scientist, Gian Gonzaga, for eHarmony says, "Stressful times can have a big effect on people's desire to be in relationships. When people are feeling stressed about the economy and feeling stressed about their love lives, they're more likely to want to be in a relationship than when they are not feeling stressed."

Let your family make your online dating profile

Okay, you do actually have some control over who you're going to date in the end. The point is that your profile is created by your family - mom, sister, cousin, and will thus more likely be more sincere, without false or exaggerated claims such as you are 7 feet tall, and built like an athlete.

GreatBoyfriends.com offers preapproved potential suitors access through fun and entertaining, sincere profiles created for you by a great pal, relative, or even more interesting, your ex, who knows you and your quirk modes best (okay, not sure about this last one being a good idea :) ). You can't list yourself on the site just like that, you have to be "recommended", which ensures an additional layer of authenticity for everyone who may be interested in getting to know you. Naturally, married people are not going to make it into the dating pool, so if you were looking for a little action outside your marriage, forget it.

It's time to get some sweet recommendations from your favorite aunt, just remember to tell her not to overdo it. ;) It's free (unless you want to write to a member, and that costs $20 a month), so send them here to recommend you, or recommend someone yourself.
