Text messaging your way to love
For those people who are tech-savvy there are now cell phone services for finding dates and friends. These are programs that help you find stranger with whom to exchange messages. It is even possible to locate people looking to connect on a map.
29-year-old Joshua Beaman, and engineer from Calistoga, California, signed up for one of these services called Bouncephone. He began to text message 19-year-old Hattie Rohr from Wisconsin.
Their messages were short and sweet, Beaman found this to be much easier than any other relationship he had had in the past. They instantly hit it off when Beaman went to Wisconsin to visit the young lady.
Beaman says about this text message dating service, "I've paid hundreds of dollars for some of those online dating services, But I'd never found someone that I'm compatible with."
