Most Americans are feeling the crunch of the bad economy on their pockets. Singles are having to slim down their dating budgets. Many are finding the solution in online dating, as it is cost effective and you save yourself from throwing money away at pricey bars and clubs.

The problem arises when the online relationship has gotten to the point where the couple needs to meet in person. Dates can no longer run a budget of 100 dollars or more.

With the weather cooling down, outdoor ice skating rinks are opening their doors — most skating rinks offer admission at 15 bucks or less. It is a romantic spot for a date and you get some great exercise at the same time.
During fall hayrides, pumpkin patches and apple picking are an easily available option, and a cup of hot apple cider with your date will only make things even more romantic.
Finally a candlelit dinner at home is not at all difficult to organize. You can work together to cook something delicious and it gives you a great opportunity to get to know each other.
