Dating Texans
The State Fair was recently held in Texas. In the lone star state this time of year is the time for love. The fair is an especially great place to see couples hand in hand, as fairs are usually the place to go for a date.
When couples were approached at the state fair they came up with a variety of interesting answers for why it is great to date a Texan.
Raul Garcia from San Antonio said: "Cowboy hats, they look great on my girlfriend."
"Oh I don't know if I like dating Texans so much, except maybe when it comes to shopping. They sure know how to shop, even the men," according to Cay Nichols of Houston.
Dan Canterbury, stated: "They like barbecue, and there are lots of pretty women."
Finally Paul Johnston said, "I dated a girl from New Jersey once and it was, like, I don't know, I felt like I was so different. Texas women, I get them, we share something. Yeah, it's a weird state sometimes, but when you date someone from here, you're more alike."
