European online dating with a scientific approach
If you're in Europe, here's an interesting online dating service - Parship.
It all starts with a psychometric test, a result of years of research into people's relationship behaviors. Basically, it's more than mutual attraction and shared interests, it's about compatibility and complementing each other. The Parship test take into account personality, behaviour, attitudes and values as determination variables. It takes about 20 minutes, and you can take the test here.
Registration on the service is free, and this gets you PARSHIP test and results, own profile with a description and photo, ability to send/receive an Icebreaker (4 short multiple-choice questions as way to establish contact), receive contact requests. Paid membership (aka Premium membership) allows you to send contact requests, securely share photos, detailed personality analysis, and contact guarantee. This last bit is interesting:
"If you establish contact with fewer than ten of your suggested partners in the course of your 6 month Premium Membership, we will extend it for a further six months, free of charge."
Six months paid membership costs £84 (60% monthly fee discount!), while a single month costs £35.
