Jude Law and ex-rocker Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly Stewart have recently been photographed together. They were captured sharing a rather steamy embrace.

Law, the star of "Alfie" was photographed with the young woman partying at a hot nightspot in Essex, England. Night clubbers photographed them embracing passionately.

The Sun newspaper published the photos, where the couple is kissing passionately in the VIP area. Clubbers say, "We couldn't believe it when we saw Kimberly Stewart snogging the face off Jude Law. They were going at it and barely came up for air."

Though Law was not too pleased with having his picture taken in such a situation, he ordered security at the club to get the clubbers to erase the pictures from their cameras.

Sources say, "Two bodyguards then came over to us and snatched the camera out of my friend's hand. They passed the camera to Jude, who then looked through the photos."

Jude Law is the father of four with his former spouse Sadie Frost — their relationship ended in 2003. Later he engaged Sienna Miller, and their relationship ended three years later in 2006, after rumors that he was cheating on her with the nanny of their children.

An Australian university researcher, Matthew Bambling from the Queensland University of Technology, has performed a study which shows that relationships started online do not seem to last very long as the people involved already have emotional bonds made before actually meeting face-to-face and usually choose an unsuitable partner. It seems women were especially susceptible to this issues because they tend to be attracted by witty comments and clever emails.

People tend to be less inhibited when communicating online (no direct in-person contact) so they let their guard down a bit too much and sometimes much more easily take things for what they are not. Getting addicted to a rush of online replies, he says, can be addictive, but it's a much better practice to meet in person at an early stage in the virtual dating process. This way any hidden "features" in your potential partner are quickly revealed so you have a much better picture about whether they are the ones you'd like to be with. Building up a fantasy image about someone you've been communicating with online is the worst thing you can do in terms of having a successful relationship later on. Maybe this statement made by Bambling says it best:
