IPoint-media will help 3G mobile users to GOvideoDating
No, this is not bad English, it's the name of the platform that IPoint-media, a provider of high-speed mobile interactive video applications, has released as a way to bring live video into mobile dating. GOvideoDating is basically a platform that enables mobile network providers to easily deploy video dating services on their mobile 3G networks.
The new platform enables 3G mobile users to search and interact with others who use video dating. They can exchange recorded video message, but also take part in live chat sessions with other members logged in at that time, without revealing their mobile phone number. Members will be able to create personal profiles and recorded video greeting messages, and also have access to basic and advanced search options.
GOvideoDating integrates with existing internet and voice dating sites, but also with location based services. A UK voice based social network service provider will be the first to deploy the new platform for the benefit of its members.
Here's what Joseph Daniel (VP of sales and marketing, iPoint-media) said about their new product:
"Dating sites are designed to help people find potential partners. The ability to see, hear and interact live with others, along with the flexibility of doing this at any time using a 3G mobile phone, will improve the experience of finding the right partner. GOvideoDating empowers dating providers to elevate virtual dating to this new level while offering new sources of revenue resulting from the generated 3G video calling traffic. We believe that premium voice and web dating providers can easily deploy GOvideoDating to generate new revenues."
