Are single people losers? According to Amy Owens

couple in loveAmy Owens, a counselor and singles coach, decided to address this issue after she listened to a morning radio show called "Losers Club." People who were single would call in and explain why they were losers in the dating scene.

She was single swell at that time, so she could empathize with the callers. She felt that by claiming they were losers these people were not even close to resolving their problems; she felt they were more undisciplined and uninformed than actually losers.

According to Owens most singles are undisciplined; they will go ahead with a relationship even if they know it's not right from the start. Most people know the rules of dating and who they want to date but they break them anyway. They will listen to friends and family even if their common sense tells them not to.

She says a smart single person will turn to therapy or counseling when they realize they are in a rut. But most people just bury themselves in work, or other activities, and avoid addressing their problems. Many singles are just waiting for "the one" to find them, not expecting to do work on themselves in the meanwhile.

The ones who truly pull themselves out of the "loser" rut are those who realize they need to change. Taking a few steps toward the positive can really turn a person's luck around. It is choices you make today that make you a winner tomorrow.

Ashton Kutcher gives style pointers for women

tn2_ashton_kutcher_3.jpgIn a Harper's Bazaar column, the actor expressed his thoughts on what he finds makes women more attractive. He likes women in skirts and dresses and … fragrance free.

"If I can smell your perfume and we're not making out, you're wearing too much. More of a lot of things in life is better. Perfume does not apply."

Furthermore, even though he likes women who dress to cover up, he doesn't find the "Hillary Clinton look" to be the right choice. Saying he like to see the female body as much as the next guy, having it all on display doesn't do it for him either. A fine balance is the right way to go. And no jewelry either - women wearing blinging stones don't look like they've got a lot of money, they just look like they have a lot of someone else's money, as he says.

Well ladies there you go. Ashton has given you some useful pointers. Bottom line seems to be - don't show too much, leave something to imagination and let passion flourish.
