Just kidding, but apparently Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Eliza Dushku is reportedly dating Seth MacFarlane, the "guy behind the Family Guy". According to reports (don't you just "love" 'em), the pair has been dating in secret for weeks after hooking up in Los Angeles.

A friend tells OK! magazine, "They met through mutual friends. They're enjoying each other's company so far. He makes her laugh a lot and she really enjoys good laughs and good conversation." Sound like a good start…

Over at DNA India, Ismat Tahseen prepared an interesting article about the benefits of blind dating. My idea is not to steal their audience, rather to recap the thoughts written in the article. Let's roll…

• First there's the excitement. Usually you do know something about a person you're about to meet, but you don't know everything. As far as you're concerned, he or she may be a secret agent, a circus performer, or an aristocrat going incognito. It's most likely you'll meet yet another average person, but hey we're all human beings and like to dream.
• Then there's creativity involved. Actually, it's more of an option, but isn't this the perfect opportunity to try-out a new hairstyle or a dazzling outfit, something you wouldn't wear with someone who knows you.
• Romance is the third parameter according to Ismat. We all — women especially — dream of her perfect "stranger in the night" and this might be the opportunity to meet him. As for the guys, you did ask for her "specs" and photos, right?
• Hope comes forth, as you're thinking that a blind date could break the current pattern of sleeping, eating and working. It doesn't have to, and usually doesn't, but you can hope. Who knows where you could go with this Mr or Ms X.
