Ladies, don't spend Valentine's Day alone

grabtiger.gif

Yes, it's that time of the year again. Valentine's Day, a holiday of love and romance, for those who are with someone, but a lonely time indeed for those who are single. Don't get me wrong, Valentine's Day is a nice day, except a bit overhyped, which leads to people feeling lonely when the day comes and the delivery person carrying a bouquet doesn't ring the doorbell.

Economic advances have made women economically independent and strong, which significantly changes the dating paradigm. Men simply find it harder to approach a successful independent woman, and refrain from doing so 4 out of 5 times (survery says). For the ladies out there, if you feel like you want to take things into your own hands and take action, Kathy Schwadel has released a book called Grab Your Tiger: How 110 Women Made the First Move to Capture the Men of Their Dreams, which presents 110 ways to make the man you want yours. It's really a compilation of successful experiences by other women out there who have used special tactics and won the man of their dreams.

If you don't like to be alone on Valentine's Day, the next time you see a guy who is just to good to pass up, don't wait for him to approach you. Take action and grab him! ;)

Former American Idol finalist Kimberly Locke dating Celebrity Fit Club trainer Harvey E. Waden IV

Yeah, we're turning into gossip blog, but what the heck. Ok, I'm kidding we'll watch not to go that way…

Former American Idol finalist Kimberly Locke dating Celebrity Fit Club trainer Harvey E. Waden IVAnyway, former American Idol finalist Kimberly Locke lost 40 pounds and gained herself a man on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club.

Those watching the popular show know how much the Fit Club trainer Harvey E. Waden IV can be intimidating. So were kinda surprised to read he's dating the beautiful Kimberly.

To be fair, they're still not actually a couple, as Harvey is going through a divorce and according to Kimberly "Until [it's final] we can hang out together and have fun together."

"We worked out on the show together for four months and never even said anything to each other," she told People. "I thought he was mean. I didn't want him to be mean to me, but then after the show was over and I saw him outside of work, he was really nice."

We'd be nice to you Kimberly too, just give us a chance… ;)
