Author Salman Rushdie dating actress Carrie Fisher

At one point in time — so many years ago — dating the actress Carrie Fisher who played Star Wars' Princess Leia would make you a star among your geek buddies. At that point, she looked so hot in her white uniform or whatever she was wearing in the cult movie.

Now, apparently she has been seen with the controversial writer Salman Rushdie in London restaurant The Ivy having a meal together. According to ContactMusic.com's reports, former Princess Leia couldn't keep her hands off Rushdie, who is in the middle of divorcing stage with his wife Padma Lakshmi.

The sad part is that Star Wars was recorded so many years ago and now the former Princess is 51 years old. Rushdie on the other hand is 60…
